歌詞が全部いいんです。すべての言葉で泣きそうになります。すべての言葉が優しいのに本当の言葉で。(優しい言葉は多くの場合嘘があるよね)
その中でひとつだけ紹介します。
いい言葉が見つからないときは 近い言葉でもいいから
本当に、そう。ベストの言葉をベストのタイミングで言おうとして、飲み込んだ言葉がいつまでも傷口になるから。ベストじゃなくてベターでもいい。いや、もしかしたらグッドでもノットバッドでもいい。「伝えたい」ということを伝えなきゃ伝わらないまま。時を分かち合えないまま。そして私はいつも唇を噛んできた。
不完全でも伝えるね。全部の意味を汲み取ってとは言わない。ただほんの少し私の思いを嗅ぎとって。
“Uta wo utau tokiwa” means “When you sing a song…”, Gen Hoshino sings.
The lyrics are all amazing. Every word makes me want to cry. All the words are tender and yet true. (Tender words often lie, right?)
Here is one of them.
“If you can’t find the right words, just use the closest ones.”
I completely agree. Trying to say the best words at the best time, the words I swallowed will always be a wound. If I can’t find the best words, I still can say the better words. Or good words or Not-Bad words. If I don’t say “I want to talk that to you”, he knows nothing about it. We can’t share the time. And I’ve always bit my lip.
I’ll tell you even if it’s incomplete. I’m not asking you to take in the whole meaning. Just sniff out a few of my thoughts.
